Almost a year after a disappointing performance against Sergey Kovalev, this victory could allow the GYM protégé to eventually face Joe Smith Jr. for the WBO light heavyweight title vacated by Saul « Canelo » Alvarez. A fight in March at the Videotron Center in Quebec is possible.
